Chris Davies MP. Welsh Select Affairs Committee visit Brecon

Chris requested that the Welsh Select Affairs Committee visit Brecon in order to see the world class facilitates on offer for infantry troops from across the globe. The tour was overseen by Lieutenant Colonel Chandler of the Royal Gurkha Rifles and Brigadier Richmond OBE the Commander 160th Infantry Brigade and Headquarters Wales.The tour was also attended by David TC Davies MP and Chairman of the Welsh Select Affairs Committee, Jonathon Edwards MP and Susan Jones MP and Chris Davies.

Chris said: "I believe that Dering Lines, Sennybridge and the Barracks in Brecon link up to create a vital link for our military in the UK."

These facilities and teams are continually improving to improve the way in which our troops are trained for war and humanitarian purposes and Chris was pleased a number of the Welsh Select Affairs Committee came to visit and understand this for themselves.
