Improving access to broadband and phone signal in our rural communities

Good broadband coverage is essential for our economic future. It allows businesses to grow and create jobs, and ensures that rural and hard-to-reach communities join the digital age. I will campaign hard to ensure we don't get left behind.

One of my key priorities since 2015 has been to fight for improved access to superfast broadband for our constituency. I have lobbied organisations of all shapes and sizes and raised the issue with Ministers of state and in the House of Commons. This is one of my key 2015 election pledges and I will fight to improve our access here in Mid Wales.

One of the key areas Chris Davies MP has been focusing on since his election to Westminster has been to help improve rural broadband and phone coverage. This issue is a constant thorn in the side of our community and has slowed down our potential growth in key sectors.
